Soft Washing vs. Pressure Washing
Not all exterior cleaning is the same. Using the wrong method can damage your home and cost thousands in repairs.
Safe for Every Exterior Surface
Vinyl Siding
Gentle soft wash removes oxidation, mildew, and dirt without warping, cracking, or discoloring your vinyl panels.
Brick & Mortar
We safely remove efflorescence, algae, and biological growth from brick without eroding mortar or staining the surface.
Stucco
Stucco is porous and easily damaged by high pressure. Our soft wash method cleans deeply without blasting out the texture.
Painted Wood Siding
We protect painted wood from pressure damage while removing mold, algae, and oxidation that cause paint to peel.
EIFS / Synthetic Stucco
Soft washing is the only safe method for EIFS systems. Pressure washing can permanently damage this specialty exterior.
Fiber Cement (Hardie Board)
We remove dirt and biological growth from fiber cement siding while preserving the factory finish and paint integrity.
Benefits of House Washing
Our Process
Exterior Assessment
We walk the full perimeter, identify surface types, note problem areas, and pre-wet all landscaping before starting.
Solution Application
Our biodegradable soft wash solution is applied at low pressure to all exterior walls, breaking down mold, algae, and dirt.
Dwell Time
The solution is allowed to work into the surface, killing mold and algae at the root rather than just masking the surface.
Low-Pressure Rinse
A thorough low-pressure rinse removes all solution and loosened debris, leaving your home clean and residue-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between house washing and pressure washing?
House washing (soft washing) uses low pressure combined with a biodegradable cleaning solution to safely remove mold, mildew, algae, and dirt. Pressure washing uses high-force water that can damage siding, strip paint, and force moisture behind your walls. For most home exteriors, soft washing is the correct and safer choice.
Is soft washing safe for all types of siding?
Yes. Soft washing is safe for vinyl siding, brick, stucco, EIFS, painted wood, fiber cement (Hardie Board), and most other exterior materials. We adjust our solution concentration and method based on the specific surface type of your home.
How long will the results last?
Because soft washing kills mold and algae at the root rather than just rinsing the surface, results typically last 2–5 years depending on your environment. Homes with heavy tree coverage or high moisture may need more frequent service.
Will the chemicals harm my landscaping?
No. We pre-wet all plants, shrubs, and lawn areas before applying the solution, and thoroughly rinse them afterward. Our biodegradable cleaning agents are formulated to be safe for surrounding greenery when properly applied.
How long does house washing take?
Most single-family homes take 2–4 hours. Larger properties or homes with significant biological buildup may require additional time. We'll give you an accurate estimate after assessing your home.
